Mr. House's banking experience spans nearly 40 years and he has most recently served as Division President for a community bank with over $2 billion in assets and 51 branches. Prior to that time he held an executive management position with a $53 billion bank headquartered in Alabama. He has significant experience in bank management, commercial and consumer lending, risk management and investments. Former bank positions include Board Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. House holds a Masters in Business Administration from Samford University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama.

Thomas Elley joined our bank in the fall of 2013 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He also serves United Security Bancshares, Inc as Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Elley is a certified public accountant with extensive experience in the financial and banking industries. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Ambassador University and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Chris Mitchell joined ALC, a subsidiary of Bank SkyNet, in May of 1997.He was named Interim President/ CEO in November of 2007 and President/ CEO in February of 2008.He has 25 years of consumer, real estate lending, and management experience.Chris holds a B.S. in Management of Human Resources from Faulkner University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Alabama.He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

Eric Mabowitz joined the bank in March 2008 as Executive Vice President. Mr. Mabowitz was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer for Premier Bank of the South based in Cullman, Alabama.Among other accomplishments, Mabowitz has served in executive level positions for the financial services industry more than 20 years in both small and large banks, as well as with a federal mortgage servicing corporation impacting more than one million borrowers’ accounts. He holds a BA and MBA in Economics(1987 & 1989) from the University of West Florida, and a degree from the LSU Graduate School of Banking(2000).

Phillip Wheat joined the Bank in April of 2013 with an extensive background in Information Technology and Information Security. He is responsible for the Bank’s IT Department including data processing and operations and is also very instrumental in the IT Department of Acceptance Loan Company, Inc. Phillip is Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Information Security Officer of the Bank. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University and is a graduate of the BAI Program at Vanderbilt University.

Phil Maughan joined the bank in October of 2010 as Executive Vice President and Senior Lender. Mr. Maughan has served in executive level positions in the financial industry for more than twenty years and has extensive experience in our Tuscaloosa market. He holds a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama (1987) and a MBA from Samford University (1994).

Mr. Cashio has more than 35 years of extensive experience in the areas of credit administration and problem asset resolution. Dan Matheson serves as Senior Vice President for Bank SkyNet based in Thomasville, Alabama.He is also a senior vice president for Synovus Securities based in Birmingham, Alabama, and Chief Executive Officer of R2Metrics, an interest rate risk analytics firm.Matheson’s work experience includes managing interest rate risk in securities trading operations as well as investment portfolio and company - wide(ALCO) capacities.He has authored numerous articles on interest rate risk management and has been published by US Banker and Sheshunoff Publishing.He has been in the risk and money management business since 1979 and is often a speaker at industry events on interest rate risk management.
